Rev. Dr. Devyn Chambers Johnson
Rev. Ryan Chambers Johnson
Jen is a transplant from Nashville, Tennessee. She's spent her life helping people connect. First, it was through teaching 5th Grade Literature, connecting children to good books. Then, it was through a church, connecting families to the church. Before moving to Easton, she helped businesses connect to quality, handmade products at a shop called Little Things Studio, where she continues to be the accounts manager and customer service representative.
In her free time, Jen loves nature and spending time with her husband.
Pastor Devyn (PastorDevyn@ecovchurch.org) grew up in Washington State about an hour southeast of Seattle. She is the oldest of four and grew up a pastor’s daughter in southern Baptist and non-denominational churches. Devyn attended Trinity Western University in British Columbia Canada before moving to downtown Seattle where she worked in higher education at Seattle Pacific University. She attended North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago where she met Pastor Ryan. After seminary she continued to work in higher education at North Park Seminary and Loyola University Chicago. Most recently Pastor Devyn served as co-pastor (with Pastor Ryan) at the ECC church in Springfield, Virginia, but she has also served churches in Washington State and Illinois. While in Virginia, Pastor Devyn completed her doctorate at Virginia Theological Seminary. She is the founder of "Four More Women in the Pulpit" an initiative to encourage churches to invite more women into their pulpits. Pastor Devyn is also an adjunct professor at North Park Theological Seminary and coaches/mentors other leaders (revdevyn.com). She enjoys drinking coffee, listening to live music, reading, playing Scrabble, and finishing Ryan’s crossword puzzles.
Pastor Ryan (PastorRyan@ecovchurch.org) has been the co-pastor of Covenant Congregational Church since 2021, sharing the position with his wife Pastor Devyn. Together, they oversee the church in growing in God’s word and keeping in step with the Spirit.
Pastor Ryan is the eldest of six siblings and grew up in Rockford, Illinois, a city 100 miles northwest of Chicago where he attended First Covenant Church growing up. Ryan then attended Trinity International University, a college in the Chicago suburbs, and worked summers at Covenant Harbor Bible Camp in Wisconsin. Through the encouragement of the church and godly friends, he felt the call to the ministry, and began studies at North Park Seminary in Chicago where he met his lovely wife. He has served as Pastor of Teaching and Worship at Grace Covenant Church in Chicago and, most recently, as Co-Pastor of Community Covenant Church in Springfield, Virginia.
When he’s not at church, Ryan loves to spend time outdoors with his two girls, Rosie and Susanna. He also enjoys hiking, reading, playing guitar and completing crossword puzzles. He also loves baseball, and is on a quest to visit every major league park (current count: 21) .
Pastor Ryan and Pastor Devyn got engaged at the top of a waterfall and share a love for hospitality, live music and God's people. In 2012 they welcomed home Rosie (Rosemary) and in 2016 Susanna. Rosie and Susanna both love music, playing outside, and most recently--sledding in North Easton!

Adam is the guy behind the scenes that makes sure you can follow along in our worship at home and in church. He is a total "techie" and makes sure we're all pulling in the same direction.
He has been part of the church all his life and he also volunteers with the youth ministries from time to time, especially the youth retreats.
Nick and his wife Cathy have been members of the church for over 25 years. Nick is currently on staff as the church custodian and also serves on the Properties Ministry. In the past Nick was a counselor and mentor for the church youth. Nick handles all the internal computer systems as well as the website and assists in streaming the live worship services.
Nick has three grown children, Allie, Niko, and Zac.
Nick volunteers a lot of his time by using his gifts and talents to help others by fixing small engine machinery such as lawn mowers, and also any computer-related needs of his friends and neighbors.
Nick feels closest to God when he is cleaning the church. In his leisure time, Nick enjoys family time at his camper in NJ and walking his dog Star.
